As the NFL season grows closer, fans across the country will speculate which two teams will face off in Super Bowl LIX.

Last year, rapper Kendrick Lamar took the world by storm with a thrilling yet controversial performance — and a national jab at Drake.

Who will rock the stage in California in February 2026?

Miley Cyrus (+500)

According to rumors online, Cyrus and Ariana Grande have already been approached individually to headline the Super Bowl.

It’s stunning that Cyrus has never done it. In 2021, she headlined a pregame event with TikTok, but never the actual game itself.

Fresh off the heels of a rap show, tapping Cyrus would be a show that’s “more fit for everybody,” with popular songs like “Party in the U.S.A.” and “Flowers.”

Going with a pioneer of thrash metal fresh off the heels of Kendrick Lamar would piss off your dad who thinks Bruce Springsteen should perform the Super Bowl halftime show every year.

But Metallica’s Bay Area roots make them an intriguing pick. We’ve seen the hometown affinity in Super Bowls before, most notably Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent’s California spectacular in Inglewood with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Lamar.

Everybody knows “Enter Sandman.” But after that? That’s what makes this a risky pick. “Master of Puppets”? “For Whom the Bell Tolls”?

Justin Bieber (+1800)

It seems like we’re all willing to accept that Justin Bieber isn’t losing his mind or going nuts. He was just in the lab on his new album SWAG and maybe staged a few crashouts with paparazzi to promote it.

Fresh off a huge album release, the Biebs has far and away the most hits of anybody on this list. And it’s wild to think he’s never done a Super Bowl.

Old-school fans will remember the smash hit “Baby” with Ludacris that put Bieber on. Throwbacks like “One Time” and “One Less Lonely Girl” would be a nostalgia-packed show.

But as he’s grown up, so has his music. “Daises” has been the song of the summer. “Where Are Ü Now” was huge. So were “Peaches,” “Stay” and “Intentions” — all released in this decade.

Olivia Rodrigo (+2400)

This feels like a pick if they can’t land Cyrus Grande, or Bieber in the pop genre. At just 22 years old, the Super Bowl would be a massive stage for Rodrigo, who is undeniably one of the biggest pop stars around right now — and she has been for some time.

“Good 4 U” and “Deja Vu” came out in 2021 — that was four years ago. Absolute smash hits.

She also has “Bad Idea Right?” from 2023 and “Drivers License.”

Bruno Mars is the youngest person to ever headline a Super Bowl at 28 years old. It feels a little too soon for this one, but she has enough hit songs to pack a set.

Morgan Wallen (+3500)

Wallen is the most controversial person on this list because of a 2021 video where he was captured using a racial slur on video.

That would make it incredibly difficult and unpopular for Jay-Z’s Roc Nation to tap him to headline the Super Bowl.

But as a country artist, you can’t deny his superstardom right now. His viral walkouts to his concerts have taken the internet by storm — and you can’t deny watching him do that at the Super Bowl would be nuts.

He also has enough mainstream hits like “Broadway Girls,” “Whiskey Glasses” and “Last Night” that would separate him from other country artists because of his mainstream appeal.
