The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from an NBA title after grabbing Game 5 of the NBA Finals to take a 3-2 series lead over the Indiana Pacers.

Game 6 tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thursday in Indianapolis, as the Pacers look to keep their season alive with a victory. Oklahoma City trailed 2-1 before winning each of the past two games.

Here’s a look at some of the best bets for Game 6 of the NBA Finals:

Oklahoma City Thunder (-6.5 at DraftKings)

The Pacers were on the verge of shocking the world after taking two of the first three games in the NBA Finals.

However, the Thunder overcame a 10-point deficit to top the Pacers in Game 4, followed by a wire-to-wire victory in Game 5 to move within one win of the title.

Indiana has picked up nine outright wins in the playoffs as an underdog, including in Games 1 and 3 against Oklahoma City.

The Pacers are 1-7 straight up in their eight losses against the spread this postseason. In their last four losses, three came by double digits — including defeats by 16 points in Game 2 and 11 points in Game 5 to OKC.

League MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points in the Game 5 victory for the Thunder, while Jalen Williams torched the Pacers for 40 points.

Indiana lost the turnover battle in Game 5, committing 22 turnovers compared to 11 by Oklahoma City.

The Thunder began the playoffs by failing to cover the spread in their first eight road games. Oklahoma City finally broke through with a Game 4 comeback at Indiana as 5.5-point favorites in a 111-104 triumph.

The Pacers will likely remain a popular pick as a home underdog. Still, let’s back OKC on the road to wrap up the NBA Finals in six games on Thursday with a win and cover.

Pacers G T.J. McConnell — Over 10.5 Points (-105 at DraftKings)

McConnell is coming off his best game of the postseason, scoring 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting in the Game 5 loss.

The Indiana guard averaged 9.5 points in each of the first four games of the NBA Finals. McConnell shot 6-of-15 in the two home games against the Thunder, while posting 9.9 points per contest in 10 home playoff appearances.

Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton is dealing with a calf injury and is questionable for Thursday’s Game 6. Assuming Haliburton is not at 100 percent or is limited, that should open up opportunities for McConnell.

Five times this postseason McConnell has recorded consecutive games with at least 10 points. He has attempted at least six field goals in each of the five NBA Finals games, while coming off a playoff-high 14 shot attempts in Game 5.
